CAPABILITIES
 Spectrim products are produced in our modern 400,000 square foot facility located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. We are part of a family of companies that service many commercial markets in addition to the health care, senior living, food service, and hospitality markets that use Spectrim. Our sister companies also produce casino slot bases, retail store fixtures, POP displays, Smartwall displays, signage, printed artwork for outdoors, commercial casework, and we also distribute Alucobest aluminum coposite sheet.
 To service all of these various industries, we employ a wide variety of technologies used in unique ways to create cutting edge products. We are resposible for introducing thermofoil films to the Retail Store Environment as well as the A & D community. We are constantly thinking outside the box to bring you new ways to solve old problems. Here are some of the more notable manufacturing systems we use to make Spectrim Products unique.

Wrapped MoldingWRAPPED MOLDING
We shape double refined Medium Density Fiberboard into a wide variety of molding shapes.  With heat, pressure, and adhesive we apply our beautiful wood grain, faux, and solid colored films.  The finished moldings have the look of real wood, but at a much better price.  This is a great value engineering solution.

Vacuum PressingVACUUM PRESSED PANELS
 The panels used on our wainscot touch on the wide range of thermal forming capability that we excel in. With no minimum requirement, we can create three dimensional finished panels with an endless variety of shapes and edge profiles that are all finished seamlessly providing a monolithic appearance that would be very cost prohibitive in real wood.

We have extensive CNC capability and can machine panels into most any 3 dimensional shape and edge detail.  Logos can be uploaded and machined for an embossed effect.  The largest single panel size is 45" x 132".

Flat LaminatingFLAT LAMINATING
 Using hybrid PUR adhesive technology we offer a wide variety of laminating services.  Laminating Ven4ma, plastic laminate, or Thermofoil films to Medium Density Fiberboard, Particle board, ACM, etc., we can provide full sheets to be machined and edged by other facilities, or utilize our extensive CNC operation to provide cut-to-size parts to your specification.

Miter FoldingMITER FOLDING
This is a fabrication method that is similar to Oragami. We machine flat laminated panels in unique patterns that are then folded and assembled into a variety of functional shapes.


COMMERCIAL CASEWORKCasework

Using AWI Premium Grade 32mm Euro construction we are able to produce a limitless array of cabinets for all of the markets we service.  We also incorporate our vacuum pressing and flat laminating technologies.  Cabinet exteriors can be finished in super-real thermofoil, plastic laminate, PET (PVC Free) Film, melamine, and wood veneers.

SpecTrim ® can supply finished sheets, finished components, or turn key casework.

Printing Services
 PRINTING SERVICES

Our sister company manufactures a line of fine art prints made for outdoor use. For that product we print on Aluminum Composite Material that we also distribute called Alucobest.  With the same UV cure inks we can print on almost any substrate.  Will a little imagination you can create in-lay wood designs as well as themed murals, objects, and logos strategically placed on panels and door components.
